My name is Mike Breezy. My beat is the sky. I'm an air detective. I was sitting in my office the other day when my phone rang. A woman's voice that sounded as smooth as honey said to me, "I've got a hot tip for you." I said to her, "Spill it."
|
| She said, "I've got the dirt on clouds. There's
water in the air. Water we can't see. This invisible water makes up clouds.
And the thing that affects both the water and the clouds is the air temperature.
And bring home a gallon of milk tonight." Then my wife hung up the phone.
I was interested. As a sky detective, clouds are a big part of my business. I had to know if this tip was true or not. I'm an investigator. It's what I do. But first I had to pick up a gallon of milk. |
